It didn't sound like her. Kanaya gets on my nerves, but it's hard to buy her as the calculating killer. That isn't the person who's been angering me for months.
We have our personal reasons for disliking each other. Ones that just became abundantly clear. (FYI not a spoiled brat unaware of the ugliness of the world.)
